About Consul
Rename image.heic to image.jpeg in Finder and Consul converts the file under the hood. Images, video, documents and audio are all covered, and the processing stays on your Mac.
A neat trick if you're sick of online converters that want you to upload things. Mac-only. The site offers a download and a Buy now option, so check what the free version includes before relying on it. Quick to try, so you'll know fast whether it fits your habits.
