About gyotaku
Everybody's screenshots folder is a graveyard of files named Screenshot-something. gyotaku runs OCR over all of them so you can search by the words inside the image instead. Everything stays offline.
When OCR misreads a character it still shows near matches, burst screenshots get folded together, and you can copy selected lines right out of an image. Free and open source for Windows, macOS and Linux. It's young (v0.1.6), so expect some rough edges.
